Internship - Business Development - ESG

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you looking 6-month internship starting as soon as possible ?

As part of the diversification strategy and in line with SES long term objectives, you will become a member of the Business Development (BD) team and produce tangible results in the form of market intelligence which will feed Business Development strategic planning.
You will actively contribute and participate to the various business development activities of two work streams related to Emergency Disaster Response (EDR) and Sustainable Development Goals (cf UN SDGs).  
To do so, you will take into consideration different elements such as SES ESG Strategy, innovation, existing and future SES assets, marketability, funding schemes and user requirements.
 

Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will actively engage with internal and external stakeholders and greatly contribute to the execution and planning of this strategic pillar.
Your work will allow the identification of areas of improvements, risks, and potential opportunities specific to this pillar. As a member of the business development team, you will also be responsible to study the different processes and interactions within the teams and propose changes if required.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the impact of ESG across a commercial organization and strategic alignment while evolving in dynamic and fast paced industry.

In this context, you will be in charge of (non-exhaustive list):

• Collecting and process market intelligence;
• Supporting and update the business case;
• Capturing and map existing dependencies within the organization;
• Providing forecasts and marketability elements;
• Submiting improvements and pursue new business opportunities.

YOUR PROFILE

1. You must have

• Current student in Business, Finance/Economics, Information Technology or in a relevant area;
• Very strong computer literacy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access);
• Fluency in spoken and written English;
• Able to work in Luxembourg (EU-citizenship or current valid work permit for Luxembourg).

2. It would be nice if you had

• Strong interest in the global technology, media, and telecom business and satellite communications in particular;
• Knowledge of MS Power BI and/or other data visualization software considered a big plus;
• Additional languages considered an asset.
