Internship - Agile Automation Engineer

Are you looking for a 6-month internship in IT starting in January 2024 ?

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Commercial Services team in a fast-paced, growing organization within a dynamic industry.
Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will contribute to implement automation in our Agile methodology and the related ceremonies by using automated testing tools and frameworks to support the overall efforts in an Agile software development process including backlog grooming, planning and other processes. 

In this context, you will be in charge of (non-exhaustive list):

  • Collaborate with developers, testers and other stakeholders to generate ideas for automation using right automation tools and techniques;
  • Participate in backlog grooming sessions and assist to develop automation ideas and implement the same to enhance the process;
  • Get involved in all the agile ceremonies and define automated workflows and automation to help the organization work smartly;
  • Support the automation testing activities;
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation opportunities.

1.You must have

  • Current and advanced Bachelor/ Master’s student in IT/Software Engineering or in a relevant technical area;
  • Computer literate (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access);
  • Fluency in spoken and written English;
  • Proactive attitude to participate in meetings and present ideas in a forum;
  • Able to work in Luxembourg (EU-citizenship or current valid work permit for Luxembourg).


2. It would be nice if you had

  • Strong interest in the media/telecommunication business and interest in satellites;
  • Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops;
  • Knowledge of Agile & scrum methodologies and terminologies;
  • Knowledge on Power Automate and Powershell scripts;
  • Additional languages are considered an asset;
  • Soft skills such as teamwork, analytical and logical thinking, communication, creativity are highly appreciated.
