Intern - IRIS2 Product Development Support

SES is looking to hire an intern to support the IRIS2 team in a fast-paced, growing international organization within a dynamic industry.  Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will contribute to the implementation of the next steps of the IRIS2 program and MEO NextGen, supporting the strategic autonomy of the Europe and developing future business opportunities for SES.

Your responsibilities:

• Support the IRIS2 Service & Commercial development team throughout execution phase
• Contribute to the development of the Product definition and requirements for IRIS2 and MEO NextGen
• Contribute to the definition of Service Performance KPIs for IRIS2
• Assist workshops about IRIS2 with relevant stakeholders

YOUR PROFILE
1.You must have

• Current student in Telecommunications Engineering or in a relevant area.
• Basic understanding of Satcom systems.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Projects).
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment, as well as under minimal supervision.
• Practical thinker with a structure approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Self-motivated and able to deal well with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. 
• Eligible to work in the European Union

2. It would be nice if you had

• Previous experience in a demanding, international environment
• Interest in and/or knowledge of European space industry, telecom business and Public procurement processes
• Knowledge of French, Spanish or German considered an asset
