Intern, Ground Operations Technician

 

CONTEXT

 

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Ground operations team (GRO) within SES.
Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will contribute to the daily operations of the ground equipment, including preventive maintenance activities and station configuration support.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Execute equipment testing and RF measurements (with key focus on automation)
  • Support equipment repairs or support with RMA processes to recover failed equipment.
  • Assist with High power amplifier testing
  • Support Satellite and Communications operations
  • Support configuration works in the Betzdorf teleport to provide backhaul, signal processing and uplink services to customers

 

YOUR PROFILE


•    Current student in communications, Information Technology or in a relevant area
•    Computer literacy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access); knowledge of MS Power BI and/or other data visualization software considered a plus
•    Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset
•    EU-citizens or work permit for Luxembourg
