Are you a tech-savvy, detail-oriented individual looking to gain hands-on experience in IT service management? We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Service management Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on various aspects of IT service management, focusing on IT processes optimisation, IT KPI’s dashboard reporting and analysis, license management, and so on. As an intern, you will gain valuable experience in data analysis, reporting, project management while contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT service management processes.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Power BI Dashboard Maintenance:
    • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of BI dashboards.
    • Ensure dashboards are up-to-date, accurate, and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to gather and integrate data from various sources into the BI system.
  • Data Review and Analysis:
    • Perform regular data reviews to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data related to IT services.
    • Analyze data trends and provide insights to support decision-making within the IT service delivery team.
    • Assist in generating reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • License Monitoring and Compliance:
    • Support the monitoring of software licenses, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements.
    • Conduct regular audits of license usage and report any discrepancies.
    • Help maintain an up-to-date inventory of software licenses and associated documentation.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Assist in creating and maintaining documentation related to IT service delivery processes.
    • Prepare reports on key metrics, including service performance, license usage, and compliance status.
    • Support the development of user guides and training materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Participate in identifying opportunities to improve service delivery processes
    • Collaborate with team members to implement process improvements and best practices.
    • Contribute to the development of automation scripts or tools to enhance data management and reporting efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Work closely with IT service delivery team members to support daily operations.
    • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to BI dashboards, data analysis, and license monitoring.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.

 

Your profile

  • Education:
    • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Hands on Power BI, Power Automate experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and visualization.
    • Familiarity with drafting processes in Visio
    • Understanding of IT service management principles (ITIL knowledge is a plus).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience:
    • Previous internship or project experience in IT, data analysis, or a related field is a plus but not required.
