ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As an engineer, platform & integration, you will be responsible for the integration and engineering of the ground terminal readiness for delivery in close collaboration with the team, including:

• Coordinating the S&I activities for enterprise and mobility in pre-configurating, testing of the hardware to assure a high-quality product and service for the customers
• Seamless integration with the modems and platforms together with quality assurance in providing valuable feedback to engineering teams and vendors to improve the hardware or installation procedures. Get involved in the engineering and optimisation process of the modem platforms
• Working collaboratively with the engineering departments, our partner vendors, product owners, network architects, and operations team is a key element
• Deliver the highest quality platforms to support our customers

You will be responsible for (this is not an exhaustive list):

• Support the staging and integration team members with coordination and planning
• Identify training requirements for the S&I team and organize accordingly
• Implement, improve and assure that proper documentation and processes are in place
• Coordinate, plan and track all activities including demos of the different segments – Enterprise, mobility, and Government
• Work close with the vendors together with engineering delivery and supply chain team to deliver state of the art products
• Assure that all necessary information, including required certificates of the prepared equipment is available to guarantee a smooth hand over to logistics team
• Work closely with logistics team to coordinate a proper flow and maximize efficiency
• Support the daily business and be one POC for internal and external stakeholders
• Support project management activities
• Support the integration of new solutions
• Support the coordination of all activities on the mPOWER antenna field

YOUR PROFILE

Must Have

• Bachelor in a related field
• Experience in VSAT platforms like iDirect, Comtech, Gilat, Newtec, Viasat and others
• Experience of satellite RF communications systems
• Experience in a project management, business management, service delivery and/or account management role
• Understanding the testing and configuration requirements of all terminals

Nice to Have

• MEO and/or GEO satellite experience
• Understanding the O3b mPOWER ConOps
• Having advanced knowledge of the O3b mPOWER user terminals and its components

• ​ Ability to take decisions within job scope and adapt to change
• Innovative spirit, business minded and self-starting qualities
• Having a very good understanding of logistics requirements like classification, customs clearance etc
