Role Description

In this one-year mission as a Spacecraft Operations Controller, you will join a team of 40 people in Betzdorf, Luxembourg. In this role you will work with multiple internal stakeholders and ensure a safe and long satellite lifetime. Your missions in the Satellite Operations Centre will be:

•    Operate spacecraft within GEO/MEO satellite fleets 
•    Monitor spacecraft telemetry and alarm status and respond to alarms or escalate incidents to other engineering teams
•    Analyze previous incidents and do trainings to better prepare for future incidents
•    Work in a 24/7 shift cycle

Your Profile

1.    Must have’s 
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience
•    Prior work experience in a technical environment
•    Driver’s license and personal car
•    This position requires the candidate to access controlled technical data subject to US ex-port control laws

2.    Nice to have
•    Technical knowledge in a related field
•    Experience working in a highly collaborative environment
