(Senior) Specialist, Site Security
SES is looking for a (Senior) Specialist, Site Security who will be responsible for the daily management of physical security facilities in Betzdorf and supports the implementation of SES physical security policy in all other locations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Physical Security
- Support senior management to define requirements for global security strategy and policies.
- Ensure effective security services to protect employees and corporate assets
- Develop processes on a global base and support security audits on a global base
- Act as point of contact to official Government bodies and public forces for physical security
- Coordinate security activities together with security contractors on-site, including access control, cameras, physical access (doors, fences, entry points), security for events, and VIP visits.
- Creates and maintains good work relationship with all stakeholders: public entities, suppliers, and contractors.
- Coordinate Betzdorf 24/7 security operation including: scheduling, training, instructions, performance and processes according to local legislation and best international standards.
- Assists and advices in budget preparations for Facility Management operating cost.
Facility Services
- Manage & organise the daily operations of the back-office and reception staff to ensure smooth op-erations
- Make a valuable contribution to the Betzdorf Facility Team and participate in various tasks and re-sponsibilities on demand
Health & Safety
- Coordinate emergency response (drills and incidents), and track incident reports.
- Support Safety Officer in managing HS on site when required.
Budget
- Identify cost saving opportunities. Supervise the commissioning and implementation of all new equipment purchased within the objectives and approved projects
- Coordinate contractors’ offers, submit Purchase Orders and track interventions on site.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma as technician or engineer
- Facility Management certificates and/or technical qualifications
- Willing to complete Safety Officer Training at the Chamber of Commerce.
- Minimum two to five years relevant experience in security operations
- Ability to analyse processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective so-lutions and strategies.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English. French and/or German desired.
- Eligibility for ESA/EU SECRET personnel security clearances is essential. Candidates must be pre-pared to undergo a security clearance procedure, as this position may require holding such clear-ance
- Willing to work at least 66% onsite from office
