(Senior) Product Specialist, Global Government

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As a key member of the Global Government Product Management team, you will contribute to the definition, validation, and execution of product strategies within the high-growth government sector, with a primary focus on the European market. You will act as the business link between technical development and business needs, working closely with cross-functional internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver mission-critical solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Monitor and interpret technological and segment trends within the evolving Government satellite communications ecosystem
  • Oversee products from initial definition and validation through to development and launch
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver new products on time, within scope and budget
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales volume, revenue growth, P&L performance, and ROI
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define price/cost structures aligned with the overarching Business Plan
  • Integrate customer feedback and user insights into the development roadmap to ensure solutions remain innovative and relevant
  • Support product launch activities
  • Support high-level sales engagements to drive product adoption and revenue
  • Any other administrative support related to product launch

COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to lead and convince diverse teams using data-driven insights; comfortable interacting with larger Strategy and Product groups
  • Ability to evaluate different options and presenting recommendations on initiatives which will contribute business success, including balancing risk and opportunity
  • Capable of performing under pressure and managing priorities in complex, high-stakes environments.
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical or commercial issues into clear presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proactive in identifying the need for change and overcoming resistance to implement new processes or ideas
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision as well as in a collaborative environment

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

  • Master’s Degree in business related field (e.g., Business, Economics, Management…)
  • Minimum of 3 years in product management or development within a technology-driven field
  • Technical and commercial understanding of evolving government communications ecosystem and technologies is a plus

Other key requirements / comments

 

  • Eligibility for ESA/EU SECRET personal security clearances is essential. Candidates must be prepared to undergo a security clearance procedure, as this position may require holding such a clearance
  • Willingness to travel inside and outside the EU from time to time
  • Willingness to work 60% from the office
