(Senior) Asset Accountant

The Asset Accounting role is responsible for maintaining the financial records for the PP&E (that is the investments in property, plant and equipment) together with a very solid team ready to share the experience and support you when needed. 
In this position you will be working closely with other departments such as the Technology, Procurement, and Logistics teams, so a basic routine will never be your problem.

You will be responsible for (this is not an exhaustive list):

•    Be part of the CAPEX project approval workflow ensuring that the capitalization criterions are met and that the required information to facilitate the asset lifecycle management is to hand
•    Create and maintain asset master data, liaise with the internal stakeholders to ensure those master data are correct, complete, adequately structured and componentized
•    Perform monthly closing activities including providing summary reporting for asset balances, additions, retirements, and disposals
•    Collaborate with the record-to-report team to ensure proper alignment between the asset ledger and the general ledger
•    Prepare and review KPI’s and take required actions to meet targets
•    Support Internal Control activities related to Asset Accounting and the external and internal audit processes as well as addressing periodic reporting obligations (for example in connection with tax or regulatory obligations)




1.    Must Have
•    Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
•    3+ years’ experience in a corporate accounting environment or relevant public accounting experience
•    Experience using SAP ERP systems to document and research financial transactions
•    Fluency in English, both written and spoken
