(Junior) Specialist, Technical Facility Management (Benelux)

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
SES Luxembourg is looking for a Technical Facility Management Specialist to support the Facility Management (FM) and Technical Facility Management (TFM) Managers in Luxembourg and the Global Facility Management (GFM) team in the execution phase of projects, provide various technical analysis and coordinate the work of external subcontractors in Luxembourg. In this position will laso be responsible for keeping the GFM documentation (Wiki) on an up-to-date level and maintain the related systems and resources including the Wiki page owners and site leads and providing analytical calculation and reports in the context of energy efficiencies.

 

You will be responsible for (this is not an exhaustive list):

  • Support the FM/TFM Managers in Luxembourg and the GFM team in Facility systems calculations, CAD design and prepare presentations and reports 
  • Perform Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tasks to support baseline data for conceptual decisions (3D site simulation, antenna visibility studies, antenna modelling...) 
  • Produce technical drawings (single line/double line) and provide technical documentation support to the GFM and Ground Systems Engineers as well as to other departments as required 
  • Based on engineering requirements, develop and update technical 2D and 3D drawings or other related documentation. This includes the co-ordination with internal Engineering & Facility Management team members and external manufacture and Architect Team representative
  • Coordination of external subcontractors which provide facility related installations, reporting of execution status to different stakeholders within the FM/TFM team
  • Prepare simple tender documents 
  • Provide reliable specified scenarios and simulation results to base strategic engineering decisions on location of buildings and antennas  

 

 

YOUR PROFILE:

Must Have

  • Hold a recognized Technician/Engineer degree (or similar)
  • Initial experience in Civil engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Systems and/or Technical Facility  department 
  • Proven experience with office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook), and with AutoCad, Visio, Autocad Inventor, or similar
  • Fluency in written and oral English and French
