Internship - Junior Analyst, HC Enterprise Applications

ROLE DESCRIPTION 

 

Are you looking for an internship in IT starting in July 2024 ? 

 

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Business Applications team, in the area of Human Capital Enterprise Applications, in a fast-paced, growing organization within a dynamic industry. 

Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will contribute to efficient support and development of the SAP Human Capital Enterprise Applications for the group, covering all different process domains and business units across the organization. 

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Work together with the ERP Services team and the HRIS team 
  • Participate in the development of the Human Capital IT Solutions 
  • First Level Requirement Analysis 
  • Perform simple configuration within SAP ECC HCM for recurring activities (like Work Schedules, Wage Types…) 
  • Assist Business in test scenarios preparation and execution 
  • Participate in weekly meetings related SAP HCM 
  • Being exposed to SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Fiori Launchpad, SAP Concur solutions 
  • Support documentation and reporting using Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft tools 
  • Support automation of tasks using Microsoft Power Automate 

 

YOUR PROFILE 

1.You must have 

  • Current student in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Finance/Economics or in a relevant area. 
  • Very strong computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, PBI).  
  • Fluency in spoken and written English. 
  • Self-motivated and able to deal well with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities 
  • Good analytical skills, problem-solving skills 
  • Able to work in Luxembourg (EU-citizenship or valid work permit for Luxembourg). 

 

2. It would be nice if you had 

  • Knowledge of SAP HCM and/or other HR software considered a big plus 
  • Real interest in the global technology, media, and telecom business and satellite communications in particular 
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR processes 
  • Knowledge of HR-ABAP or other similar development languages (Python, Java…) 
  • Project Management methodological knowledge (Agile / Scrum) 
  • Additional languages considered an asset
