ROLE DESCRIPTION

 

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Monitoring & Digital Systems Engineering team, growing organization within a dynamic industry.

 

Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will contribute to developing a web service UI to interface with the Radiometer server and suggest and implement a REST interface for M2M interfacing with the measurement data.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program a web UI to interface with the radiometer on most used functions

  • Suggest and program a M2M REST interface for north-bound communication with the SES data landscape

  • Work together with the MDS-GOE team to understand the Radiometer Server capabilities, functionality and its architecture.


YOUR PROFILE

1.You must have

  • Currently student in Engineering
  • Current student in Telecommunications, Media Technology or Information Technology or in a relevant area.

  • Strong computer literacy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access)

  • Programming skills in modern languages, SQL, Python, HTML and PHP an asset

  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Able to work in Luxembourg (EU-citizenship or valid work permit for Luxembourg).


2. It would be nice if you had

  • Knowledge of relational databases and REST interface technology

  • Strong interest in the global technology, media, and telecom business and satellite communications in particular

  •  Additional languages considered an asset
